It's the first sound Malty tries to make when she hides her roar in Malty the Blue Tiger.
Let's just say it doesn't turn out the way she expected! Today, we'll leave "Chirp!" for the birds, but we are saying "Chickpeas!" These healthy legumes make the most scrumptious, mouthwatering—wait for it—cookie dough!
Chickpeas are an amazing source of fiber for a healthy digestive system, and are also packed with protein. Both fiber and protein help to keep a tummy full until dinner, making this a perfect after-school snack or even post-lunch dessert. Chickpeas also have many vitamins and minerals, such as vitamin K and magnesium, which help to build strong, sturdy bones. 💪🏼
We served our dough with a few animal crackers, but we want to know:

In a food processor, blend 1 can chickpeas, rinsed,
1/3 cup natural nut butter, 2 Tbsp natural sweetener (such as maple syrup or honey), 2 tsp vanilla extract, and 1 tsp cinnamon.
Stir in 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips and serve.
