
Roarin' Pizza Grilled Cheese

You host the birthday party crowds, the after-school friends... the list goes on!
No matter what the occasion, little guests always have one thing in common: They LOVE pizza!! 🍕
However, pizza isn't usually the healthiest option on the menu. That’s why we created a nutritious whole wheat sandwich that tastes just like pizza, but is packed with vitamin-rich cherry tomatoes. Not to worry: Your little one won't balk at the sight of veggies when they see this sandwich, because we fine-tuned the ingredients to taste just like kid-friendly pizza sauce.
Debut these sandwiches at your next “pizza party” or make one for a savory lunch.

Step 1
Slice 1/4 cup cherry tomatoes.
Sauté with 1/4 cup marinara sauce and 1 Tbsp garlic, minced, over medium heat until tomatoes are broken down, about 2 - 4 minutes.

Step 2
Spread tomato mixture on 1 piece of toasted whole wheat bread. Add 1 slice of mozzarella cheese.

Step 3
If desired, top with basil before adding a second slice of bread. Heat until cheese is nice and melty!
