Hi, Malty friends!!! 🤗
Welcome to Level 2 of Malty's carve-free pumpkin series! If your little one is still too little to be carving gourds, but has graduated from our Level 1 Pom-Pom Pumpkin, this sparkly craft will delight and dazzle them.
Inspired by the signature colors of
Malty the Blue Tiger, this pumpkin uses a simple paint-on glue technique to get its dripping glitter look.
Here's how to get started—don't forget to send us snapshots of your sparkly pumpkin by tagging @MaltyTheBlueTiger on Instagram! 📸
Hugs and roars,
Your Malty Friends 💙

Step 1
Start with a black pumpkin.
You can paint a real pumpkin, or a craft gourd!
(We used this pumpkin from Michael's! 😊)

Step 2
Ask your child to use a foam brush to paint glue (we used Mod Podge!) onto the top of the pumpkin.
Don't worry if it drips down the sides—that'll make it look extra spooky!

Step 3
Have your little one sprinkle blue and silver glitter onto the pumpkin in layers. Allow to dry, then shake off the excess into the trash.
